Hi, how can we help?
Hi, I’m Zouhair, the person behind CouponFYI. If a coupon didn’t work, something on the site looks off, or you just have a question, this is the place. Reports like yours are actually one of the main ways I find out something needs a fix. So please don’t be shy about reaching out.
What Can You Contact Us About?
A Coupon Didn’t Work
Tried a code from CouponFYI and it didn’t work at checkout? Tell me the store, the code, and what happened. Maybe you saw “expired,” “not applicable,” or “not valid,” whatever it was, let me know.

One thing worth knowing first: a failed code doesn’t always mean it’s fake or fully dead. It could be the end date, a rule about certain products, a minimum spend, or something about your account. I go through all the common reasons in Why Is My Promo Code Not Working?, you might find your answer there faster than waiting on my reply.
An Expired Coupon
Found a code on CouponFYI that’s already expired? Tell me the store and the code, and I’ll take a look.
Codes can expire faster than any one person can catch every single one, that’s exactly why reports like yours matter so much. If you want to know more about how this actually works, I wrote a full guide on it too: Can You Use Expired Coupons?
Something Looks Wrong
See a wrong discount amount, an old detail, or something that just doesn’t match what the store’s really offering? Tell me exactly what looks off, so I know what to check.
A Broken Link
Found a link that leads nowhere, or somewhere it shouldn’t? Tell me which page and which link, and I’ll fix it.
A Question
Got a question about a coupon, a store, or one of the labels you see on the site, like Verified by Editor or Last Used? Ask away. You can also check the FAQ first, a lot of common questions are already answered there.
What Should You Tell Me?
Keep it short, you don’t need to write much.
For a coupon report, this is usually enough:
- Store: which store or service
- Code: the exact code you tried, if there was one
- What happened: the error message, or whatever you saw at checkout
- When: the date you tried it
One thing, please don’t put passwords, card numbers, or anything like that in your message. I don’t need it, and it’s not safe to send.
What Happens After You Send a Report?
I look at what you sent and compare it against the listing and whatever I know about that code.
Depending on what I find, I might fix the listing, update the details, or take the coupon down completely.
One honest note here: one report doesn’t automatically mean a coupon’s fully dead. Sometimes a code fails because of something about your cart, your account, or where you’re shopping from, not because the code itself is gone. So your report gives me something real to check, not an instant answer. That’s also why CouponFYI uses different labels for different kinds of proof.
- Verified by Editor means I personally tested the code at checkout myself, and it worked at that time.
- Reported Working means a shopper told me it worked for them recently.
- Last Used just shows the last time someone tried the code, a freshness sign, not a promise.
Even a code I tested myself last week can stop working today, stores change their deals all the time, and there’s no way for me to catch every change the second it happens. You can read the full breakdown in how we find, test, and check coupon codes.
Before You Reach Out
A lot of coupon problems have nothing to do with expiration.
A code can fail because of a minimum spend, a product that’s left out, an account rule, an app-only rule, or another discount already applied. If that sounds like what’s happening to you, you might find your answer faster in Why Is My Promo Code Not Working? or the FAQ.
